Construction of World's Largest Indoor Ski Resort Enters Finishing Stage

At present, the construction of Shanghai Yixue - Ice World project has entered the finishing stage: the outer curtain wall of the two hotels has been closed, the internal finishing and mechanical and electrical installation has been completed by 90%, and the mechanical and electrical installation of the ski resort and the splash centre, the thematic packaging, and the exterior of the project are under intensive construction, and it is planned to be opened next year.
 
Shanghai Yaoxue Ice World is a comprehensive tourism and holiday project integrating sports, entertainment, catering, shopping and exhibition. With a total investment of nearly 7 billion yuan and a total construction area of 350,000 square metres, the project mainly consists of a 90,000-square-metre mega ski resort, a 28,000-square-metre indoor and outdoor splash park, an 18-storey boutique hotel and a 15-storey resort hotel. Among them, the world's largest indoor real snow ski resort has a vertical drop of 60 metres, with nearly 1,200 metres of ski tracks. In addition, there are over 20 snow entertainment programmes and the first indoor snow train in China. Upon completion, the project will be the world's largest indoor ski-themed functional project.
